This page represents some of the "frequently asked questions" that Burgundy gets from its potential clients. Hopefully, this will provide you with valuable information in your entertainment selection process.

Question: I saw Burgundy perform recently and I was wondering if I book them for my upcoming event, will all the same members be there?

Answer: Yes. Burgundy’s members will always be present at all Burgundy engagements barring anything unforeseen (personal illness, etc.). You may see some of Burgundy’s members occasionally “sitting in” with other bands, however, Burgundy is always their first priority and they will never miss a Burgundy engagement to play with another group. When considering booking any band, you should be careful if that band’s web site fails to list who the members of the band are. That most likely means that the band in question does not have a permanent group of members but instead relies on different substitutes for each engagement. That would not be recommended.

Question: My event will be in a rather small reception hall. Will the band be too loud for the small room?

Answer: Absolutely not. Burgundy has several PA system configurations and our sound and equipment staff will insure that the right system is used for the right venue.

Question: Will the band learn a special song for my wedding reception if they don’t currently know it?

Answer: If Burgundy has ample time prior to the reception and if it is a song that would fit its repertoire, Burgundy will be happy to learn a new song for a wedding reception. Burgundy always offers the option of playing a CD version of any song if learning it is not feasible.

Question: Will I be allowed to pick all the songs Burgundy plays at my wedding reception?

Answer: Burgundy will certainly be happy to work with the prospective bride and groom to accommodate their wishes relative to the material we play at any given wedding reception. We will also draw upon our many years of experience in playing hundreds of wedding receptions to determine what songs to play “to get the party started”. Our goal is to make your wedding reception the best that it can be and to be totally stress-free for you.

Question: Does Burgundy play out of town engagements?

Answer: Yes, Burgundy will play anywhere our prospective clients want us to play.
